We will be getting married on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at the Blue Venado Paamul in Playa Del Carmen.
We would love to have you join us in celebrating our wedding and staying with us at Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico!

To take care of all your travel plans, we have been working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Vibe Thrive Travel. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort.

In order to take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guest must have their reservations for the hotel made by October 1st, 2024 and paid in full by October 15th, 2024.

To reserve your room, it is a $100 deposit (or the cost of insurance) to make your reservation. You can make payments until the payment deadline of October 15th, 2023.

We are currently holding rooms from January 27th, 2025 to February 2nd, 2025; however, you may book any dates you wish through this website (if we are not holding the room, our Travel Agent will request it be added to our group).

Airport/Transportation: You will fly into CUN (Cancun Airport). When you make your reservation, you will see the option to add transfers. You will be provided all the details for your transportation and our travel agent will request your flight details closer to travel.

The Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya is located on a lovely white-sand beach in Playa del Carmen and offers you the best 24-hour All Inclusive service. You can cool off and enjoy the warm Mexican climate in the hotel pools, one of which has a swim-up bar. But if you prefer the beach, Riu offers you a zone with lounge chairs reserved for guests of the hotel. Strolling by large gardens and immersing in crystal clear swimming pools, providing a wide range of activities and some enjoyable entertainment programs for children and adults, ensures its customers non-stop fun and relaxation guaranteed.

During your stay in Playa del Carmen, you have the option of taking excursions to the most emblematic places: The island of Cozumel, the Xcaret and Xel-Ha parks, and the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.

Check-in Policy:
Check-in begins at 3pm. Guests arriving earlier than 3pm are welcome to use the resort immediately upon arrival even if their room is not ready. The hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Check-out is 12pm.

Price Matching

Please submit your reservation as normal, and in the special requests / notes field, please let us know where you found a better rate. We may require a e-mailed screen shot of the offer, and we will send this information to the price match team.

It is important that your booking still be made with the group so that it will still count towards our group.

The cost of the events held at the resort are directly affected by bookings being within the group space, and any bookings outside of our room block end up costing us more!

Price Matching Details:

Room only rates in USD must be publicly available (membership clubs excluded) to be considered by the resort for a price match.

Websites must be US Based.

Vacation package rates which include airfare, airport transfers and/or travel protection cannot be price matched.

Advanced Payment rates (full payment is due at the time of reservation and are usually non-refundable/non-changeable) cannot be price matched. All price matches are subject to approval by the resort. Vibe Thrive Travel cannot guarantee a price match request will be approved by the resort.

FAQ'S

How many days should I arrive before the wedding?
-We'd love for you to think of this as your vacation with our wedding in between! Please arrive at least 1 day before the wedding so that you may attend any welcome events.

May I setup a payment plan?
-You will receive a payment link once your reservation is made and you will be able to make payments at anytime.

Can you help me arrange transportation to/from the airport and resort?
-Yes, when you make your reservation using the booking form, you will see the option to add on transportation. We will need your flight information 60 days before travel.

What is the cancellation policy?
-Your initial deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your reservation before the final payment due date, you will only lose your deposit. If you cancel once your reservation is paid in full and the final payment date has passed, refunds will depend on insurance purchased. If you do not purchase insurance, your reservation is non-refundable. You may purchase travel credit insurance or cash back insurance which will cover the cost of your trip.

May I use USD in Mexico?
-Absolutely! The resort is all inclusive, meaning that your drinks and food are covered your entire stay! We recommend bringing small bills ($1s & $5s) to tip bartenders and servers a few bucks if you are experiencing good service.

Excursions

From horseback riding, to exploring beautiful cenotes and ancient Mayan ruins, we want you to experience everything Mexico has to offer. It's best to explore off-resort excursions with the most trusted name in travel in Mexico, Lomas Travel. Not only will Lomas Travel be there to meet you at the airport and take you to your resort if you purchase transfers with us, but there will also be a Lomas travel representative at your hotel during regular business hours in case you need them for anything.

You can plan to make the most of your trip by pre-purchasing any excursions you want to do so that when you arrive for your vacation, you wont have to worry about what tours are already sold out.
